Resuinsa presents its smart and eco-friendly textiles at HostelCuba

Resuinsa’s new textiles received the warmest of welcomes from visitors at the most important international trade fair in Cuba

Resuinsa’s wide international footprint was clear at the fourth edition of HostelCuba, the International Hospitality Trade Fair held from 23rd to 25th May at the Pabexpo exhibition centre in Havana. The company took part in the event for the first time, where over 300 exhibitors and brands from 15 countries were in attendance.

Resuinsa was invited to take part in HostelCuba, a fair promoted by the Cuban Ministry for Tourism and organised by Fira Barcelona. It presented its top new textiles, receiving a warm welcome from visitors, experts and different stakeholders in Cuba’s industrial and tourism sector. The company introduced its eco-friendly textile collections such as VITA, comprising 100% sustainable products made from recycled material which, in turn, are recyclable themselves.

It also introduced its smart textiles and sparked huge interest. Visitors to Resuinsa’s stand were shown the tag label and given an explanation on how RFID technology helps traceability management for items in inventory, location, shelf life, collection, distribution and laundry processes. In turn, one of the top features mentioned by visitors to Resuinsa’s stand was the quality of its products.

Over 4,000 visitors came to HostelCuba, an event that has become a major opportunity for all sectors aiming to enter and strengthen their footprint in the Cuban market. The trade fair includes workshops, conferences and investment forums, and aims to showcase the latest trends in the hotel industry, such as Resuina’s presentation of its textiles, and contribute to development in the Cuban tourism sector.

In this vein, Resuinsa has a standout presence both on the island and across the Caribbean with partners in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Panama and Costa Rica. Thanks to these associates, the company is able to provide towels, sheets and all kinds of textiles to hotels in Cuba quickly and efficiently, helping to ease the general lack of product availability.

Resuinsa operates in over 140 countries across five continents and has over 45 years of proven experience in the industry.
