14 Mar Resuinsa, the only textile company to enter the exclusive International Circle of Hotel Managers
To gather exclusively all the hotel management professionals in their own interest and to give value to this professional profile in all its strands (management, company, services, sector) are some of the goals of the International Circle of Hotel Managers (CIDH), one of the most important associations in this sector and the only one in the world, of which Resuinsa has become part as the first textile company.
The CIDH, whose president is Vicente Romero, was created in order to work in the representation, defence and promotion of the interests of the hotel managers throughout the world, with the values of integrity, respect and professionalism. This way, Resuinsa helps to define the shape of these professionals thanks to its 40 years’ experience and its international strategy in 32 countries around the world.
“Collaborating with this organization takes Resuinsa a step further, since we want to help through working with the best hotels in the world. The role of the managers of these establishments is essential for the well-being of the sector, therefore we have considered it was very important to become part of the CIDH”, has told Resuinsa’s general manager, Félix Martí.
Moreover, Resuinsa brings its expertise in the five countries: “We want to be close to the hotel managers to provide them, within our means, a structure, services, information and contacts from which they can benefit”, has pointed out Martí.
The CIDH has currently more than 12,000 members. In addition, it has also offices in China and the USA and more offices are due to open in other countries, such as Canada, Cuba, United Kingdom, France or Germany. It also maintains close ties with some hotel management and catering schools, training hotels and training centres, and it includes personalised services, such as a job bank, tax and labour advice, talks, seminars, conferences and design of tourism projects, among other things.
