Resuinsa extends its offices in 2024 ready for new challenges ahead

Félix Martí highlights that 2023 was an excellent year for the company and new projects are in the pipeline for 2024.

A new year brings new challenges. Resuinsa is kickstarting 2024 with larger offices at our HQ in Alboraya (Valencia). We have plans for different large-scale projects over the coming months and need extra space to house higher staff numbers.

Moreover, we will be putting the finishing touches in to several plans that started to take shape over the past year. These projects are closely tied to the company’s expansion and the challenges in the hotel sector thanks to the domestic and international tourism boom.

A strong tourism sector

The COVID-19 pandemic was a challenge for the sector, as well as ushering in a new set of lessons and opportunities. ‘Here at Resuinsa we stood by all our clients, helping them in a tough time filled with uncertainty. We learnt to go back to what we deem the new “normal”, to a new, truly improved time where we are ever more committed to sustainability, innovation and corporate social responsibility’, explains Resuinsa CEO, Félix Martí.

The past year was excellent for the tourism sector. According to the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), it ‘showed strength and recovery capacity. In this sense, global travel is on the rise and all regions are recovering faster than expected’.

The figures confirm this. According to Turespaña, 88.4 million international tourists came to Spain up to November, representing an 18.2% rise over the same period the year prior. In addition, a Frontur survey showed Spain had recovered pre-pandemic tourism levels alongside a 15% rise in spending.

A good 2023 for Resuinsa

‘In short, all these data point in one direction: the tourism sector has quickly recovered and is doing so with more awareness, points out Martí, adding that at Resuinsa ‘we continue to work on providing quality service to the hospitality sector in line with higher tourism figures. We are extending our offices after an excellent 2023 for the company whilst we kickstart the new year with brand new projects to help drive the hotel sector’.

Moreover, the CEO points out that tourism ‘is not only a sector with considerable weight in the domestic and global economy since it also helps drive key issues such as sustainability and innovation. This is the path we need to take together to continue to support a major economic pillar, in step with caring for the environment and being socially responsible’.
