Resuinsa: a safe space and ‘Punto Violeta’ against gender-based violence

Resuinsa has been awarded the ‘Punto Violeta’ [Purple Point] business seal meaning we are a safe space that helps any victim of gender-based violence. Individuals can come to our offices or manufacturing sites and we will provide them with assistance to go to official bodies.

‘Punto Violeta’ is part of the company’s Code of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Ethics and represents a rejection and condemnation of any type of gender-based violence, promoting good practice in the workplace by eradicating all forms of gender discrimination. It also endorses improving and highlighting legal rights for women who are victims of gender-based violence and, in this sense, contributing to their protection.

Here at Resuinsa we back awareness-raising of gender-based violence and places where any woman in a vulnerable situation can come in seeking information and help.

We have been a socially responsible company for many years with regard to the environment, society and the economy. Our Code of Conduct includes all criteria complying with national and international labour standards, as well as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Moreover, the CSR code incorporates the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women, and the conventions and recommendations issued by the International Labour Organization (ILO).

Ethics and transparency are essential for us. This is why our certifications and CSR policy ensure good business practice across all our manufacturing processes. We are now a ‘Punto Violeta’ too, in order to boost our commitment to the fight against gender-based violence.
