17 Dec Housekeeping managers lead the way in quality, sustainability and textile innovation
Resuinsa hosts a training session in Granada highlighting how textile innovation, sustainability and technology are shaping hotel operations.
The professionalisation of the hotel industry cannot be understood without housekeeping managers, the professionals who know hotel operations inside out. As key figures in both the present and future of the sector, housekeeping managers gathered on December 11th at the Granada Center Hotel to take part in a training session led by Resuinsa.
Under the title “Quality, Technology and Sustainability Applied to Textiles”, the session became a meeting point for professionals who not only oversee every room, but also actively contribute to the continuous improvement of their properties. The event was led by Javier Blasco, Resuinsa’s Sales Director for the Levante and Southern regions, who explained how textiles have become a strategic asset within hotel management.
Efficiency lies in the details
Sustainability also starts on the floors, where textiles play a central role and efficiency is measured in every small decision. During the session, current industry challenges were addressed through real-life examples, insightful data and everyday anecdotes, focusing on textile solutions that combine durability, quality and environmental responsibility.
Attendees gained first-hand insight into how textile innovation can make a real difference in daily operations, and how product-based technologies such as RFID help save time and resources without compromising the level of comfort today’s guests expect.
The session also explored design, aesthetics and customisation, with the participation of Carmela Martí Decoración, a benchmark in textile interior design for the hospitality sector.
The day concluded with a networking aperitif, where ideas, experiences and professional perspectives were shared among peers who live the industry from the inside, with passion, vision and a clear focus on the future. With this event, Granada joins Resuinsa’s growing network of professional training initiatives, reinforcing a clear reality: sustainable change begins with the right decisions — and housekeeping managers know this better than anyone.
