Resuinsa wins the Valencia Chamber of Commerce Award for Internationalisation

The award testifies to the company’s efforts, and the excellence and potential of the Spanish hospitality industry, which Resuinsa strives to represent around the world.

Resuinsa, one of the top textile companies in the hospitality sector, was awarded the Valencia Chamber of Commerce Award for Internationalisation at the SME of the Year Awards 2024. The acknowledgement underlines the company’s contribution to bolstering the Valencian and Spanish hospitality industry around the globe, as well as its outstanding track record in more than 140 countries.

Resuina CEO Félix Martí collected the award at the event, highlighting the company’s family roots:  ‘We work in over one hundred countries and are a family business started by my grandfather and consolidated by my father.’ In this sense, Martí underlined how the award testifies not only to the company’s efforts, but to the excellence and potential of the Spanish hospitality industry, which Resuinsa strives to promote and represent around the world: ‘We work side by side with hotels, restaurants and other industry stakeholders to bring Spanish hospitality’s know-how and quality to international markets. We have also taken for a two-pronged approach by incorporating best practice from overseas to reinforce and add value to the sector in Spain.’

Support for people impacted by the cut-off low storm

Resuinsa showed its support and solidarity with companies and people affected by the recent cut-off low storm in Valencia at the ceremony’s 8th edition. Indeed, all the award-winners expressed similar feelings, with Resuina reaffirming its commitment to collaborate in activities to help the recovery in areas affected by the floods.

In short, Resuinsa’s award from the Valencia Chamber of Commerce encourages us to continue along our growth path and expand the Spanish hospitality industry’s excellent quality to new markets. In this vein, the company’s ongoing mission is to bolster international connections and strengthen the sector’s global leadership.  ‘We believe every step towards internationalisation is essentially a move towards strengthening the Spanish hospitality industry.

This award confirms our conviction that by working together as a sector, we can continue to show the world why the Spanish hospitality industry is a benchmark for excellence’, concluded Martí.
