Resuinsa cements growth with revenue above 46 million euro in 2024

The company saw 10% growth over the previous year, whilst remaining committed to innovation and sustainability

Resuinsa bolstered its lead in the international hospitality sector through solid domestic and international sales

With the tourism sector experiencing strong growth, Resuinsa, a leading specialist in textiles for the hospitality industry, ended 2024 with over 46 million euro in sales. The figure is up 10% over the previous year.

Sales were split equally between Spanish (55%) and international export markets (45%). The Americas represented 55% of total sales overseas, followed by Europe (25%), and Africa and Asia (20%). The figures are a testament to the company cementing its position on international markets.

Resuinsa CEO, Félix Martí, explains growth in 2024 ‘comes from constant, targeted strategies in different geographic areas. We work with over 8,000 customers in 140 countries across all continents and have sufficient capacity to adapt to local market challenges in a changing global environment. We do this whilst ensuring our customers are constantly supported on their journey towards excellence’.

In this sense, knowledge transfer is one of the outstanding elements underpinning the company’s international model. As Martí states: ‘All the know-how we have developed over decades working in the Spanish hospitality sector is used on our international projects. We take this experience wherever we operate, adapting it to each market but with a common core in excellence, efficiency and demanding quality standards.’

Sustainability and innovation

The firm’s growth stands alongside its strong commitment to sustainability and innovation, both in terms of textile design and investment in R&D&i. In this vein, Martí highlights the implementation of the RECOFID project as a milestone in 2024. The initiative is supported by the Centre for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI) and aims to offer a viable solution for textile recycling to boost the circular economy within the hotel sector.

According to Martí, ‘these projects are key to ongoing efficiency improvements and finding real solutions for environmental impacts from hotel activities. The innovation applied to sustainability is not an option but a core structural element to our growth strategy. It has a real impact at hotel companies and in society at large’.

After nearly 50 years in the business, Resuinsa ended 2024 with ongoing growth based on a business model that combines wide-ranging experience in the hospitality textile sector, a global perspective, and a real commitment to quality, innovation and environmental sustainability.
