The hotel is set in a historical 12th-century Cistercian monastery that has been carefully restored to preserve its mediaeval charm and offer guests a unique exclusive experience.
The hotel has used Resuinsa textiles and fabrics to adorn bedrooms with the highest quality, designer bed and bathroom linen. Particular attention has been paid to tailoring products to meet the hotel’s requirements and expectations.
A journey through time
Hotel Abbaye de Maizieres is not just a place to stay, but rather a 900-year journey back through time. Every nook and cranny brims
with history, from the 3rd-century Roman stone walls and spiral staircase to the Cistercian stained glass entrance. Bruno Epailly and his wife Emmanuelle took the decision to renovate the ancient abbey and turn it into a luxury boutique establishment. The project took them nearly four years, including installing a swimming pool in the former monastery’s wine cellar.
