Resuinsa guarantees supply for the hospitality sector amid international logistics pressures

The company strengthens its sourcing and planning strategy in a context marked by geopolitical tensions and rising tourism demand

As Spain prepares for a tourist season with very high occupancy forecasts, growing tensions in international logistics chains are beginning to emerge as a critical factor for hotel operations. In this context, ensuring stability across the hospitality supply chain is becoming essential to guarantee supply availability for hotels.

In response to this scenario, Resuinsa has reinforced its planning across both production and raw material sourcing. To this end, the company has implemented measures within its supply chain to ensure availability and maintain service continuity for its clients. The aim is to mitigate the impact of potential logistical disruptions and cushion the effect of rising international transport costs.

“When hotel occupancy soars, any tension in the supply chain can quickly become an operational issue. That is why anticipating these situations is essential, and we have been working for some time to guarantee supply for our clients,” explains Félix Martí, Resuinsa CEO.

A strained international context

Rising maritime transport costs, increasing freight rates and disruptions along some of the world’s main trade routes are beginning to affect a few sectors dependent on international trade. In the case of hospitality textiles, some suppliers in the market have already started warning clients about potential limitations in certain products due to supply difficulties.

For the hospitality sector, the situation once again brings back into focus a strategic aspect that often goes unnoticed: the importance of working with suppliers that have industrial capacity, solid planning and a long-term vision.

In this sense, when tourism reaches peak demand periods, even the most everyday elements of hotel operations depend on something far more complex: a supply chain capable of anticipating and adapting to an increasingly volatile environment.

In this context, with a consolidated logistics structure and strengthened planning, Resuinsa guarantees supply availability for the hospitality sector at a time when tourism activity may reach particularly high levels.
