The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certificate is an independent certification and analysis system for basic textile products, intermediate and final products of every stage in the production process.

A requisite to obtain the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification of textile products is to ensure that all the product components meet the quality criteria without exception.

The OEKO-TEX certification requisites go beyond the existing national laws. The analyses and criteria to guarantee the absence of harmful substances include:

  • Absence of forbidden substances.
  • All the substances must follow the legal regulations.
  • Absence of chemical products that are known to cause a harmful effect on health.
  • Compliance with the parameters for health risk prevention.

OEKO-TEX® analyses of harmful substances are aimed at the effective use of fabrics. The more contact with the skin a product has, the stricter the human-ecological requirements.

On June 30th 1998 Resuinsa obtained its first OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certificate, a certificate which has been renewed annually since then.
