08 May Resuinsa underlines its commitment to professionalising the sector through training
Resuinsa trains groups in key operational posts at hotels, providing knowledge and wide-ranging experience
Training in the hotel sector is synonymous with new lessons and discovering standout aspects, particularly in technology, which lead to a better sense of wellbeing for both professionals and end clients. It has become a key progress point in the sector and Resuinsa has made a firm commitment to it with different training courses.
‘Without training, no real progress can be made in professionalising the sector. We are very clear about this at Resuinsa. In addition to all the latest advances in technology, training must be supported by benchmark companies with wide-ranging experience’, highlights Resuinsa CEO Félix Martí.
Resuinsa aims most of its training sessions at groups in key operational posts at hotels, such as housekeeping staff who play an essential role in satisfactory guest experiences. Moreover, attendees at training sessions benefit from explanations from an international company with longstanding experience in the field.
Seminars in the Canary Islands
Around thirty participants attended a comprehensive training session we organised in Gran Canaria on Thursday 20th April: ‘General Training Day on Hotel Textiles’. Fernando Soriano, the company’s commercial director and Iván Rioja, the regional sales representative, introduced different aspects linked to the firm’s wide-ranging experience in textiles.
The day was specifically geared towards housekeeping, procurement and laundry staff at the local hotel chain Servatur Hotels & Resort. The chain operates 14 hotels and had expressed its interest in team training alongside Resuinsa, a benchmark company for industry professionals.
The session took place at the Hotel Servatur Terrazamar & Sun Suite and covered topics linked to textile manufacture and materials for hotel use. The textiles used by the chain were also covered, in addition to a comprehensive explanation on how to care for textile products in different ways: handling, rotation, wear-and-tear, and uses.
New training session in Valencia in May
Another insightful session will be held this coming 10th May at 5.30 pm in Valencia, where we will explain the new regulations on textile waste set to come into force in 2025. We will also look at how textiles can represent a standout feature at hotels, as well as the importance of smart textiles.
In short, these training sessions are a clear sign of our commitment to training for the hotel sector to drive and support development. For this reason, we work alongside institutes, organisations and professionals so that guests ultimately benefit from all our acquired skills and knowledge.
